Madres del Dolor y Agencia de Seguridad Vial piden al Senado que aprueben la ley de Alcohol Cero
El oficialismo convocó a una sesión especial para mañana en la Cámara de Senadores, pero estaban trabadas las negociaciones con la oposición para unificar el temario a tratar en el recinto.
“Estamos ante una oportunidad histórica de salvar vidas”, expresó Viviam Perrone, integrante de Madres del Dolor en un video dirigido a los parlamentarios, a quienes reclamó que “dejen de lado todo enfrentamiento político y voten con el corazón”.
Y agregó: “En nombre de todos los familiares de víctimas de tránsito, mañana voten Alcohol Cero al volante”, según se informó en un comunicado difundido por la ANSV.
Por su parte, el director ejecutivo de ese organismo, Pablo Martínez Carignano, dijo que “no puede ser que los senadores de dos o tres provincias determinen que no avance una ley nacional tan necesaria para dejar de lamentar muertes provocadas por conductores ebrios. Estamos pidiendo que se sancione una norma que busca salvar vidas, y que hoy el lobby de unos pocos empresarios vitivinícolas retrasa su tratamiento en el recinto”.
“Nos sumamos al pedido de Madres del dolor y de todos los familiares de víctimas de tránsito que luchan hace más de 20 años por una ley que puede mejorar el tránsito en el país”, aseguró Martínez Carignano.
El proyecto de Ley de Alcohol Cero al volante, que elaboró e impulsa el organismo del Ministerio de Transporte, cuenta desde noviembre del año pasado con media sanción en Diputados, y de obtener la aprobación de los senadores, se convertirá en ley nacional.
Esta normativa está vigente actualmente en 13 provincias argentinas y más de 50 municipios, indicaron en un comunicado.
