Superávit comercial elevado y exportaciones récord en abril 

En lo que representa un récord histórico para el mes de abril, las exportaciones argentinas totalizaron USD8.327 millones en el cuarto mes del año, con un crecimiento interanual del 35,6%, y un superávit global (primeros cuatro meses) de 1.444 millones de dólares.
Según los datos difundidos hoy por el Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos INDEC), los primeros cuatro meses del año acumulan un total exportado de USD27.681 millones, por lo que 2022 se mantiene en niveles récords. En ese periodo, las exportaciones crecieron 28,5% con respecto al primer cuatrimestre del año pasado y superaron en 14% el récord previo de enero-abril de 2012. En cantidades exportadas, alcanzó el segundo mayor registro de la historia, solo superado por el mismo período de 2008.

Las importaciones de abril sumaron un total de USD6.883 millones, con un crecimiento interanual del 47,3%. Se trata del mayor valor alcanzado para un mes de abril. Las importaciones acumulan en el primer cuatrimestre del año un total de USD24.852 millones, lo que representa un nuevo máximo histórico.

Respecto del saldo comercial, abril fue superavitario por USD1.444 millones, el valor más alto de los últimos seis meses y se acumulan 16 meses consecutivos de resultado positivo. Durante el primer cuatrimestre del año, el saldo comercial totaliza USD2.829 millones.

Rubros más dinámicos

Todos los grandes rubros exportados crecieron en abril. Se destacaron las manufacturas de origen industrial, con un incremento de 64,3% en valor y de casi 30% en cantidades. También se registró un fuerte incremento en las exportaciones de combustibles y energía, de 192,7%, impulsado tanto por mayores cantidades (78,5%) como por sus precios (63,5%).

Los principales mercados de exportación entre enero y abril fueron Brasil (12,9%), Estados Unidos (7,6%), Chile (6,2%), China (5,9%) e India (5,0%).
Las importaciones que más crecieron en abril fueron los combustibles y lubricantes, que triplicaron el valor de abril de 2021. Tuvieron un incremento del 73,8% de sus precios y del 72,6% en sus cantidades. Las compras de bienes de capital también crecieron (42,5%), con un incremento significativo (35,5%) en cantidades.
