Avellaneda: Inauguración de la primera etapa del Parque Metropolitano – Corredor costero Avellaneda y Quilmes
En el acto, la presidenta de la empresa, Mónica Cappellini, entregó al ministro de Desarrollo Territorial y Hábitat de la Nación, Santiago Maggiotti y al intendente de Avellaneda, Jorge Ferraresi, el Master Plan Biocorredores CEAMSE y el libro Guía de Biodiversidad, editado CEAMSE.
Un proyecto de esta envergadura es posible gracias a planificación y ejecución por parte de CEAMSE, de las políticas públicas del Estado Nacional y la Provincia de Buenos Aires. Es el resultado del trabajo iniciado en la gestión de Jorge Ferraresi en el Ministerio y que continuó Santiago Maggiotti.
Las áreas verdes y azules del Villa Domínico se integrarán con la Eco Área y del Parque del Río de Avellaneda generando un corredor de biodiversidad de 450 ha, con 1356 especies: fauna 1048 , flora 248 Y funga 78.
A partir de ahora se podrán coordinar visitas guiadas y desde diciembre quedará abierto para disfrute de la comunidad.
En el evento estuvieron presentes adultos y adultas mayores de centros de jubilados de Avellaneda, cuya presencia fue destacada por la presidenta de la empresa: ellos, como tantos otros habitantes de la zona, vivenciaron la realidad de Villa Domínico cuando era un relleno sanitario y hoy se les están devolviendo cientos de hectáreas para que puedan disfrutarlas.
También fueron parte de este día los coautores del libro, personal de CEAMSE y miembros de la Cooperativa UST.
En ese marco, el ministro Maggiotti expresó: “Trabajamos con los municipios para generar conciencia y superávit ambiental. Sin el compromiso del Estado esto no sería realidad”.
Nos recuperamos del castigo ambiental que sufrimos por mucho tiempo”, dijo Ferraresi y recordó que “desde tiempos de dictadura, aquí se tiraba basura”. En ese sentido, resaltó las gestiones y el trabajo conjunto entre el Ministerio, el CEAMSE y la Cooperativa UST para sanear el lugar.
Por su parte, Cappellini agradeció el apoyo del Ministerio durante las gestiones de Ferraresi y Maggiotti, presentó el masterplan y adelantó que “a fin de año el acceso al complejo será de acceso libre”.
La jornada concluyó con la visita guiada de los asistentes en los nuevos buses destinados al Corredor.
