La Matanza: entrega de 1000 notebooks a estudiantes
El Municipio de La Matanza continúa fortaleciendo la informática y las nuevas tecnologías en materia de educación, por lo cual ha sido reconocida por la UNESCO como Ciudad del Aprendizaje y será la primera Ciudad de la Innovación de la Argentina. En esta oportunidad, gracias al trabajo conjunto con el Gobierno de la provincia de Buenos Aires se hizo efectiva la entrega de computadoras a chicas y chicos de último año de escuelas secundarias, que alcanzará a más de 16 mil estudiantes.
El intendente de La Matanza , Fernando Espinoza, junto con el gobernador de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Axel Kicillof, hicieron entrega de notebooks que alcanzarán a mil jóvenes del último año de escuelas secundarias de gestión estatal del distrito, en el marco del Programa Conectar Igualdad Bonaerense.
El acto contó con la presencia del director general de Cultura y Educación de la provincia, Alberto Sileoni y el secretario general de Coordinación de Gestión e Innovación de La Matanza, Antonio Colicigno. Allí, Fernando Espinoza expresó: “Hoy es un día de mucha alegría para todas las chicas y chicos de las escuelas secundarias de La Matanza, porque junto a nuestro querido gobernador Axel Kicillof, estamos haciendo un acto de justicia social a través de la entrega de notebooks a estudiantes del último año de las escuelas secundarias del distrito, que alcanzará un total de 16 mil alumnos”. “Esto significa igualdad de oportunidades y una importante reducción en la brecha digital a partir de la integración de las nuevas tecnologías en las aulas y en el ámbito familiar”, remarcó.
Por su parte, el gobernador Axel Kicillof señaló: “Este es un programa que abre un mundo de igualdad de oportunidades que, sin un Estado presente, no existiría; al igual que las inversiones que está haciendo La Matanza en materia educativa, universitaria y en ciencia y tecnología” y refirió: “La movilidad social ascendente tiene que ver con que los hijos de familias que no habían podido ir a la Universidad tengan la posibilidad. Esto le mejora la vida a cada uno de ellos, a la provincia y a La Matanza, que gracias a lo que hace permanentemente Fernando (Espinoza) esto es una realidad, y pone al distrito en un nivel más elevado en términos de capacidades de productividad.”.
“Más que las palabras, valen los hechos, hoy La Matanza tiene 457 escuelas en obra y seguimos ampliando nuestras dos universidades”, enfatizó Fernando Espinoza y concluyó: . “A través de la tecnología, la ciencia y la innovación las y los estudiantes van a poder transformar la Argentina, su ciudad y el futuro de su familia”.

Today, I went to the beach front with my children. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter
and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She
put the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab inside and it pinched her ear.
