El flamante candidato a Intendente, y actual Jefe de Gabinete, Pablo Descalzo fue el candidato más votado en Ituzaingo, al igual que Sergio Massa y Axel Kicillof.
Al ser consultado por los resultados, Pablo destacó : “Agradezco el apoyo de todos los vecinos y vecinas que depositaron su confianza en esta lista que representa un futuro con trabajo, desarrollo y oportunidades. Vamos a seguir trabajando incansablemente por Ituzaingó y su gente. Queremos que esta ciudad siga creciendo, con más educación, más salud y más seguridad”.

En relación a la interna de Juntos por el Cambio, el concejal Gastón Di Castelnovo se impuso al senador Lanaro, por cerca de 5000 votos. En cambio, a presidente Patricia Bullrich, que apoyaba a Lanaro, se impuso a Larreta, apoyado por Di Castelnovo, es decir que hubo un importante corte para que este último se quede con el triunfo.
La segunda fuerza más votada en Ituzaingó fue Libertad Avanza.
