#SomosDonantes será la campaña para promover la donación que lanza el Incucai
Durante la jornada se difundirán en las redes sociales testimonios de familiares de personas que fueron “donantes de órganos, permitiendo recuperar su salud y mejorar su calidad de vida a quienes esperaban un trasplante”, precisó la cartera sanitaria a través de un comunicado.
También se compartirán testimonios de personas trasplantadas, de integrantes del sistema de salud y se convocará a participar a la comunidad, invitando a que compartan sus mensajes sobre la importancia de donar.
Durante todo el mes se llevarán a cabo también actividades en todo el país con el objetivo de promover la donación que pueden consultarse en https://www.argentina.gob.ar/noticias/actividades-en-todo-el-pais-por-el-dia-nacional-de-la-donacion-de-organos-2
En lo que va de 2023 se realizaron 1.502 trasplantes de órganos y córneas. Así, 776 pacientes en lista de espera recibieron un trasplante de órganos -674 provenientes de donantes fallecidos y 102 de donantes vivos- y se realizaron 726 trasplantes de córneas.
Para más datos, en los primeros cinco meses de 2023 se realizaron 566 trasplantes renales, 150 hepáticos, 35 cardíacos, 12 pulmonares, siete hepatorrenales, cuatro renopancreáticos, una hepatointestinal, una cardiorrenal y 726 trasplantes de córneas. Del total de trasplantes, 117 fueron pediátricos (menores de 18 años).
Estos trasplantes fueron posibles gracias a la concreción de 641 procesos de donación, 294 procesos de donación de órganos y 347 de córneas, que se llevaron a cabo en todo el territorio nacional: Buenos Aires (160), Misiones (60), Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires (49), Corrientes (50), Santa Fe (49), Mendoza (47), Córdoba (43), Neuquén (32), Santiago del Estero (28), Entre Ríos (25), Tucumán (21), Jujuy (14), San Juan (11), Salta (12), Río Negro (10), Catamarca (siete), Chaco (cinco), La Pampa (cinco), La Rioja (cuatro), San Luis (tres), Tierra del Fuego (tres), Formosa (dos), Chubut (una).
El Programa para la Implementación de Unidades Hospitalarias de Procuración de Órganos y Tejidos (Uhprot), que fue aprobado por Resolución 3.685/22 por la ministra de Salud, Carla Vizzotti, ofrece a las instituciones sanitarias una herramienta destinada a construir servicios que desarrollen integralmente la actividad de procuración y trasplante dentro de los hospitales, con el fin de brindar una respuesta a las más de 7.000 personas que esperan un trasplante de órganos y a las 2.800 que aguardan un trasplante de córneas.
El Incucai impulsa la implementación del Programa en etapas, en establecimientos hospitalarios nacionales, provinciales y municipales.
Desde el inicio del Programa, en enero de este año, seis hospitales ya firmaron un compromiso de gestión.
Ellos son los hospitales Julio C. Perrando (Chaco), el de Urgencias (Córdoba), el Nacional Alejandro Posadas (Buenos Aires), el Municipal Eva Perón de Merlo (Buenos Aires), el Escuela de Agudos Dr. Ramón Madariaga (Misiones) y el Dr. Avelino Castelán (Chaco), el primer establecimiento hospitalario pediátrico que se suma al programa.
