Extenderán el pase libre multimodal bonaerense a los trenes

El ministro de Transporte de la provincia de Buenos Aires, Jorge D´Onofrio, anunció que extenderán “el Pase Libre Multimodal a los trenes”, con lo que más de 90 mil bonaerenses que ya cuentan con la credencial que garantiza el derecho a movilizarse, a personas con discapacidad y trasplantados, podrán acceder a ese nuevo beneficio.

“El gobernador Axel Kicillof va a firmar el convenio con el presidente de Trenes Argentinos, Martín Marinucci, y extenderemos el Pase Libre Multimodal a los trenes. Representando así, un gran avance en materia de beneficios y derechos para todas y todos”, confirmó D’Onofrio durante un acto de entrega de Pases Libre Multimodales en el municipio de Morón.

Junto al intendente de ese distrito, Lucas Ghi, se entregaron 810 Pases Libres Multimodales (PLM) a personas con discapacidad, trasplantadas y en lista de espera de trasplante.

Con esta segunda tanda de credenciales para el distrito, son 1516 las y los moronenses alcanzados por el beneficio para utilizar sin costos el transporte público de pasajeros automotor y fluvial, y que pronto se extenderá al servicio ferroviario, destacó un comunicado del ministerio de Transporte.

D´Onofrio resaltó que “el Pase es un derecho que desde el Estado tenemos la obligación de hacerlo cumplir y renovarlo de la forma más rápida, como lo estamos haciendo ahora. Hubo una época en que este beneficio había sido archivado, dificultando mucho realizar el trámite y la expedición de la credencial. Sin embargo, hoy las y los vecinos lo pueden gestionar de forma online gracias al trabajo entre los equipos del Ministerio y de los municipios”.

Al finalizar, el funcionario que también entregó dos alcoholímetros para potenciar la ley de Alcohol Cero al Volante, se refirió al cambio cultural que busca consolidar al expresar que “el Estado tiene la obligación de cuidar a sus vecinos. Por eso la implementación de la Ley de Alcohol Cero, que no habla solo sobre la prohibición del alcohol para conducir sino también de estupefacientes, para que podamos desplazarnos por el espacio público con seguridad, ya sea como peatones, usuarios del transporte público o con un vehículo particular”.

Por su parte, el Intendente Ghi sostuvo que “los Pases no son un regalo de nadie, los derechos se ejercen y se defienden. Alcanzan a miles de vecinos de Morón y nosotros no hacemos más que ser ese puente de transmisión para que llegue a los vecinos” y agradeció la labor del ministro bonaerense para mejorar la calidad de vida de los y las bonaerenses.

Con la entrega de PLM en Morón ya son 92.383 las credenciales distribuidas en todos los partidos de la Provincia durante la gestión de Jorge D’Onofrio frente a la cartera de Transporte.

La cartera provincial informó que en el 2023 ya se realizaron entregas a solicitantes de 51 municipios.
