La Anmat prohibió la venta de un queso cremoso
La Administración Nacional de Medicamentos, Alimentos y Tecnología Médica (ANMAT) prohibió la elaboración y la comercialización de un queso cremoso cordobés por no contar con los registros sanitarios adecuados.
Así se informó en el Boletín Oficial a través de la disposición 519/2023, que prohíbe “la elaboración, tenencia, fraccionamiento, transporte, comercialización y exposición a nivel mayorista en todo el territorio de la República Argentina” del queso cremoso de la empresa Villalac.
La prohibición se materializó después de la denuncia de un consumidor en referencia a que el producto y el establecimiento elaborador no tenían registros sanitarios.
Después de la investigación de la Dirección General de Control de la Industria Alimenticia se decidió la prohibición de su elaboración, fraccionamiento y comercialización.
“En atención a las circunstancias detalladas y a fin de proteger la salud de los ciudadanos ante el consumo de productos ilegales, toda vez que se trate de productos alimenticios que carecen de registro, motivo por el cual no pueden garantizarse su trazabilidad, sus condiciones de elaboración, su calidad con adecuados niveles de control bajo las condiciones establecidas por la normativa vigente y su inocuidad, el Departamento de Rectoría en Normativa Alimentaria del INAL recomienda prohibir la elaboración, fraccionamiento y comercialización en todo el territorio nacional del citado alimento, así como también todos aquellos productos que en sus rótulos indiquen el RNE y RNPA mencionados”, sostiene la disposición.
En esa misma disposición se argumenta que la prohibición del producto responde a que “no puede ser identificado en forma fehaciente y clara como producido, elaborado y/o fraccionado en un establecimiento determinado” y que, por eso “no podrá ser elaborado en ninguna parte del país, ni comercializado ni expendido en el territorio de la República de acuerdo a lo normado por el Artículo 9°, inciso II de la Ley 18284”.
