De esta forma, las becas Progresar pasarán a ser de $9.000 mensuales desde diciembre pasado, por lo que en los próximos días se pagará el diferencial a los alumnos.
Durante el anuncio, Massa subrayó que “no hay mayor igualador social que la educación”.
“La movilidad social ascendente se logra cuando un chico, salga del hogar que salga, se hace de las mismas herramientas a partir de tener la posibilidad de poder acceder a una carrera universitaria, de acceder a algún programa de capacitación, que lo ponga en la línea de largada en igualdad de condiciones”, sostuvo Massa durante un encuentro realizado en el Palacio de Hacienda.
Además, este incremento del 22% en las becas escolares, representa una suba del 150% desde septiembre 2021.
Por su parte, el ministro Perczyk subrayó la necesidad de una educación pública de calidad para “una Argentina que quiere ser más justa y federal”, que garantice la finalización de los estudios y permita continuar su formación profesional.
“Para una Argentina que quiere ser más justa y federal, es necesario una educación pública de calidad y nosotros, como Estado, somos los primeros responsables de que las y los estudiantes estén en la escuela, recuperen aprendizajes, terminen sus estudios, vayan a la universidad o puedan realizar cursos de formación profesional“, sostuvo el ministro Perczyk.
“Somos un gobierno que cree en la educación como herramienta de movilidad social y se compromete para que todos nuestros jóvenes tengan acceso a la educación y se capaciten para los desafíos que nos plantea el siglo XXI”, agregó el ministro de Educación.
En diciembre de 2021, el programa de becas Progresar se amplió para incluir a las y los estudiantes de 16 y 17 años, ademas contempla poblaciones priorizadas para las cuales varían los requisitos de edad.
En este sentido, cuenta con 4 tipos de beca: Progresar Obligatorio (que incluye la línea 16 y 17), Progresar Superior, Progresar Enfermería y Progresar Trabajo.
En diciembre de 2022, el programa alcanza su mayor nivel de inversión anual con $120.000.000.000 y cuenta con 1.700.000 becarias y becarios. Para 2023, se prevé una inversión proyectada de $150.000.000.000.
El programa Progresar implementado por el Gobierno nacional tiene como objetivo fortalecer el ingreso, la permanencia y el egreso de los estudiantes, promoviendo la finalización de la educación obligatoria y fomentando la educación superior y cursos de formación profesional.
