Designan a dos sacerdotes para hacer exorcismos
Oscar Ossola, párroco en la iglesia San Lorenzo Mártir de Salta, aseguró hoy que “es muy común que la gente pida un exorcismo”, pero aclaró que el porcentaje de los que se realizan “es bajo”, ya que lo que las personas necesitan es “contención”.
El religioso formuló estos conceptos un día después de que el arzobispo de Salta, Monseñor Mario Antonio Cargnello, anunciara la designación de dos sacerdotes para realizar prácticas de exorcismo.
“Es común que la gente pida un exorcismo, sobre todo a raíz de las películas y de algunos cultos que se pueden ver en la televisión a la medianoche, entonces la gente cree que están poseídos porque se cierra una puerta sola, escuchan el llanto de un bebe, hay ruidos en el techo, porque se despiertan a la noche por soñar cosas feas, y eso hace que se acerquen a la Iglesia a pedir un exorcismo, pero no hay riesgo de posesión”, explicó a Télam Ossola.
“Yo en 31 años de sacerdote no hice ningún exorcismo ni liberación, aunque me lo piden día por medio”, dijo el religioso.
En este sentido aclaró que “el porcentaje de los que llegan a pedir un exorcismo y se les realiza es bajísimo” y consideró que lo que las personas realmente necesitan es “contención”.
“Hay chicos que manifiestan querer quitarse la vida o presentan brotes psicóticos, se ponen violentos y la familia se acerca a pedirlo”, relató, pero indicó que en realidad muchas veces los jóvenes tienen otro tipo de problemas.
El arzobispo de Salta, a través del Ministerio del Exorcista, designó dos sacerdotes que tienen la facultad de “expulsar los demonios de una persona” que se encuentra poseída a través de un rito de exorcismo, informaron por medio de un comunicado.
“El Ministerio del Exorcista es algo que tienen todas las diócesis no sólo en él país, sino en todo el mundo. La provincia de Salta no lo tenía implementado, por eso el arzobispo consideró que fuera conveniente tener dos sacerdotes que se encargaran de los rituales de exorcismo si hiciera falta”, mencionó Ossola.
Cargnello designó a los sacerdotes Loyola Pinto y de Sancristóval y Héctor Fernando Campero para realizar esta tarea.
“Loyola Pinto es especialista en derecho canónico y Campero viene haciendo cursos de exorcismos en el Vaticano”, indicó Ossola y mencionó que si bien el ritual lo realizan ellos, hay un trabajo previo con un equipo de profesionales de la salud como psicólogos, psiquiatras y médicos.
“Son los que acompañan a la persona y evalúan que no sea una situación que pueda ser tratada por alguna de estas ciencias. Quizás pueda haber otras situaciones que lo afligen que no pasen por lo espiritual sino por lo psiquiátrico, afectivo, psicológico”, enumeró el sacerdote.
En el comunicado también se menciona que “el Demonio puede actuar de forma extraordinaria a través de la infección de lugares, la vejación a personas y la más extrema, que es la posesión”.
Sin embargo, Ossola hizo hincapié en que el exorcismo es para “las personas que tenemos la fe cristiana, es un acto de fe”, y que “el riesgo de todo esto es la psicosis de que mucha gente piense que el diablo está suelto y se mete en cualquier persona, pero Dios es infinitamente superior”.
Además el párroco aludió que hay que “quitarnos esa imagen cinematográfica de que a la persona le da vuelta la cabeza 360 grados, vomita verde, se trepan al techo; ni tampoco esto que se muestra en la televisión de los sacerdotes que llega una persona paralítica en silla de ruedas y hay que sacarle el diablo que tiene en la rodilla y no le permite caminar, no es eso”.
El vocero del arzobispo salteño reafirmó que “es un tipo de presencia, que descartando la condición clínica y psiquiátrica, se puede quitar y que el Vaticano autoriza para todas las diócesis“, y que como se menciona en el comunicado es una práctica que debe realizarse con “absoluta reserva y discreción”, para preservar la privacidad de las personas a las que se le realiza un exorcismo.
