Afirman que el tercer refuerzo de la vacuna contra el coronavirus sirve para sostener la cobertura
“Es importante este tercer refuerzo para mejorar las coberturas y para sostener la situación que tenemos actualmente, sobre todo porque estamos viendo en algunos países de Europa que se estuvieron dando algunos picos y aumento de casos”, sostuvo hoy Ceriani en declaraciones a Télam Radio.
La funcionaria consideró que “ante la posibilidad de que eso ocurra en nuestro país, es mejor garantizar que estén protegidas estas poblaciones”.
Ceriani especificó que se trata de las personas mayores de 50 años, las personas inmunocomprometidas mayores de 12 y todos los mayores de 18 que tienen comorbilidades, además de aquellos que, por la exposición al virus, están también en situación de mayor riesgo “como es el personal de salud”.
En el caso de la provincia de Buenos Aires, recordó que este refuerzo “se da de manera libre y federal”.
“Las personas pueden acercarse para recibir este tercer refuerzo a cualquier vacunatorio Covid de la provincia de Buenos Aires, independientemente del lugar donde residan, sin necesidad de turnos, inscripción, ni orden médica“, indicó.
La aplicación del tercer refuerzo de la vacuna contra el coronavirus a quienes hayan completado su esquema de vacunación hace cuatro meses, comenzó a implementarse en las provincias según lo dispuesto este sábado por el Consejo Federal de Salud (Cofesa).
