Las cámaras de seguridad de la Municipalidad de Merlo permitieron identificar al autor del asalto a la sucursal del local “Solo Deportes” ubicada en San Antonio de Padua.
El ladrón circulaba en una motocicleta Gilera Smash 125 color roja y portaba un revólver cargado, que fue hallado al momento de su detención en una vivienda ubicada en Iwanosky y Brown, localidad de Parque San Martín.
Los agentes del centro de monitoreo municipal recibieron una alerta con la descripción de la situación e iniciaron el seguimiento para su detención a través de las cámaras de seguridad ubicadas en la vía pública.
El delincuente fue detenido por personal policial de la Comisaría de Merlo 2da “San Antonio de Padua” y se secuestró el arma con la cual cometió el delito.
El hecho tuvo lugar el miércoles por la noche y el Subsecretario de Protección Ciudadana, Domingo Humberto Lippo, comunicó que “la aprehensión se logró con éxito gracias a la labor de personal del Centro de Monitoreo de Merlo”.
El Municipio colabora con la prevención de delitos a través de diversos operativos y en el distrito ya se instalaron más de 5000 cámaras de seguridad.
