Clausuran un criadero ilegal con 22 perros en “pésimo estado de salud” y detienen a una persona
El allanamiento se realizó en un domicilio ubicado sobre la calle Andonaegui al 1.600, a partir de la denuncia de vecinos sobre la existencia de un criadero ilegal.
Según las fuentes, el fiscal Carlos Rolero Santurián encomendó la investigación al Cuerpo de Investigaciones Judiciales (CIJ) del Ministerio Público de la Ciudad, que pudo comprobar la existencia del criadero ilegal que vendía cachorros a través de internet.
Durante el operativo, la Unidad Fiscal Especializada en Materia Ambiental (Ufema) logró rescatar a 22 perros que se encontraban “en pésimas condiciones higiénicas, hacinados en jaulas y algunos de ellos con graves problemas de salud y enfermedades como cáncer, colecta uterina y neoplasia en piel, entre otras”, según diagnosticaron los médicos veterinarios que participaron en el procedimiento.
La Ufema dispuso el secuestro de las jaulas y otros documentos relativos a la comercialización de perros y la imputación de tres personas responsables por Actos de maltrato y crueldad animal, de las cuales una permanecerá detenida por “su mayor participación en los otros hechos”, indicó el Ministerio Público.
También, se encontraron libretas sanitarias apócrifas firmadas por uno de los imputados, sin título habilitante de veterinario.
Los perros, entre ellos adultos y cachorros de la raza Bulldog francés y Pug, fueron entregados a una ONG para su tratamiento, recuperación y posterior puesta en adopción responsable, mientras que la Agencia de Protección Ambiental dispuso la clausura de la actividad criadero por ser ilegal en CABA.
El allanamiento fue coordinado por el Cuerpo de Investigaciones Judiciales (CIJ) y contó con la participación de la División Delitos Ambientales y División Canes de la Policía de la Ciudad, veterinarios de la Agencia de Protección Ambiental (Apra) y organismos de la Agencia Gubernamental de Control (AGC).
