Seis detenidos y casi media tonelada de cocaína secuestrada a un clan peruano en Merlo y Rodríguez
La denominada banda de “Yayo” y “Manteco” fue desbaratada tras una investigación llevada adelante por el fiscal federal de Hurlingham, Santiago Marquevich, y el Juzgado Federal 3 de Morón, subrogado por el juez federal de Mercedes, Elpidio Portocarrero Tezanos Pinto.
En la pesquisa y los allanamientos trabajaron detectives del Departamento Casos Especiales, de la Delegación Departamental de Investigaciones (DDI) de San Martín y de la SubDDI de José C. Paz, todas áreas de la policía bonaerense dependientes de la Superintendencia de Investigaciones de la fuerza provincial.
En un primer operativo realizado en General Rodríguez, tras el seguimiento de una camioneta, se secuestraron más de 325 kilos de cocaína, pero en uno de los allanamientos posteriores se encontraron otros 160 kilos de la misma droga que estaban escondidos bajo tierra, en un tanque cisterna, en la casa del presunto cabecilla, en el partido de Merlo.
La investigación se inició el 15 de julio pasado con un informante que reportó la existencia de una organización narcocriminal que se dedicaba a la comercialización y distribución de cocaína de un cartel peruano, en distintos puntos del conurbano bonaerense como así también en la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires.
Según las fuentes, la información indicaba que la cocaína era traída en camiones desde Perú, para luego fraccionarla en cargas de menores dimensiones para su distribución y que la banda tenía su base operacional en el partido bonaerense de Merlo.
El presunto jefe de la organización local es un hombre de nacionalidad peruana apodado “Yayo”, domiciliado en Merlo y cuñado de uno de los líderes del cartel peruano, que aún hoy continuaba prófugo.
Pero quien sí fue detenido fue uno de los lugartenientes, identificado como Manuel Arturo Mendoza Herrera, alias “Manteco”, de doble nacionalidad, peruana y argentina.
“Los frecuentes viajes a Perú de ambos sospechosos hicieron que se iniciaran una serie de tareas de inteligencia que ayer dieron su fruto y precipitaron los allanamientos”, dijo a Télam una fuente judicial.
El dato era que Mendoza Herrera había regresado de Perú y ayer se ordenó su seguimiento y el de una camioneta Ford Ranchera, desde la localidad de Cañuelas, hasta su destino en una quinta de General Rodríguez, ante la sospecha de que moviera una importante cantidad de cocaína.
“Este hombre se encargó de seguir la camioneta donde finalmente trasladaban la droga. Cuando arribaron a General Rodríguez, se ordenó interceptar los vehículos y a los sospechosos”, explicó la fuente consultada.
El procedimiento fue en una quinta ubicada en la esquina de las calles España y San Martín de la mencionada localidad, donde hubo corridas y hasta un lesionado que cayó de un paredón en su intento de fuga, cuando los sospechosos notaron la presencia policial.
En total, en el lugar fueron detenidos seis hombres: “Manteco” Mendoza Herrera, su custodio Luis Ángel Navarro Barboza, alias “Naifas”, y otros cuatro imputados.
La camioneta Ford Ranchera, patente XIP347, ocultaba en un doble fondo de su caja trasera, unos 300 panes de cocaína, envueltos en papel aluminio y nylon transparente, que tuvieron un peso total de 325,672 kilogramos, según precisaron voceros policiales.
También se secuestraron un auto Ford Fiesta, otro Volkswagen Vento, teléfonos celulares, una pistola Bersa calibre .380 con dos municiones y un cargador y la documentación personal de los detenidos.
Este procedimiento hizo que a pedido de la Fiscalía Federal de Hurlingham, el juzgado ordenara otros cinco allanamientos.
El más relevante, fue el realizado en la casa del principal investigado, Mendoza Herrera, en la calle Formosa 3161, Lago del Bosque, Merlo, donde se hallaron 147 panes de cocaína que paseaban 160 kilos y otros dos kilos de marihuana, dentro de un tanque del tipo cisterna subterráneo, que estaba bajo tierra.
Otro allanamiento se hizo en la calle Altube al 4200 de José C. Paz y en Merlo hubo otros dos procedimientos en domicilios de las calles Remedios de Escalada al 700 e Hipólito Yrigoyen al 200, donde se incautaron una pistola, 30.000 pesos, celulares y una serie de electrodomésticos de alta gama que se cree fueron comprados con dinero proveniente de la comercialización de drogas.
Tanto los detenidos como los elementos secuestrados quedaron a disposición del Juzgado Federal 3 de Morón, quien en las próximas horas indagará a los detenidos.
